I live in a flat bottom and will not have access to a fire truck to my apartment in case of fire. Responsio is the installation and maintenance of fire alarms?

Smoke alarms are the responsibility of the owner ... is for you to change the battery.
Fire Department to use the stairs in case of fire. If it did not have access to housing does not pass inspection .. including the fire code.
I assume that the owner may be responsible, but I would trust anyone else to worry about my safety, so I'm going to buy me smoke - is not expensive and can be obtained free of charge with the local fire departments, if you ask. Everything you need to pay the batteries. Do not ask too much, for your safety?
