I have a new flat-screen LCD and a 2 year old Grundig DVD players
The antenna is connected to a DVD and LCD TV scart.
TV worked well and integrated into the collection box number on all channels OK.
However ... If the regular channel.i AV2 to watch a DVD ... There is no way to watch TV AV2 to DVD .. and therefore I can not record TV on DVD ..
What am I doing wrong please?

I do not know what you are doing here. I think it is a DVD that you have no DVD player, because obviously not register if one player.
He also assumes that you have a cable TV antenna connected as well.
If you have a SCART cable is connected between, say, switch the AV2 and DVD recorder AV1 on the TV screen, then AV1 on the TV you can watch a DVD, and change the DVD AV2, which should allow the recording TV at the time. (In other words, if you would turn on the TV for BBC1, then set your DVD player to AV2, the registration BBC1.)
When this happens, there may be an adjustment to change the video output to TV via SCART on.
